Tejgaon Government High School is a reputed educational institution in Tejgaon, Dhaka. This educational institution was established in 1935 AD. Shahrin Khan Rupa, the present headmistress of the educational institution, has ensured the education system of the students through proper supervision.

Apart from him, other teachers of this educational institution have been performing their duties with devotion. Every year this educational institution is able to achieve good results. Tejgaon Government High School is located at Farmgate. This educational institution was nationalized in 1981.

This educational institution has two branches. And that is the morning and day branches. In addition to formal education under the supervision of the headmistress, the students of this educational institution are being able to acquire external knowledge in addition to their own studies by engaging in various co-educational activities such as debate clubs, language-learning clubs, cultural clubs etc.

Every year students get the opportunity to get admission in the educational institution through admission test. Educational institutions are included in the morning branch from first to fifth and from sixth to tenth class. All the students from sixth to ninth class in the day branch are girls.

Since the students of Tejgaon Government High School are admitted through the admission test every year, arrangements were made to admit the students through the admission test of the 2021 academic year.

But due to the global epidemic of coronavirus, as every educational institution is closed, a fancy method has been adopted this year to prevent students from getting infected with the virus through public gatherings. Students will be able to apply for the admission test online this year. To apply for online admission, you have to pay 110 rupees through Teletalk.

Students will be able to apply for admission from 15th to 28th December, 2020. There will be a lottery based on the names of the educational institutions that will apply for admission online. If a certain number of students are selected through lottery, only those students will get admission in Tejgaon Government High School.

Like every year, this year also Tejgaon Government High School will have a total of 160 students in 2 branches in third class, 30 in fourth class, 15 in fifth class, 45 in sixth class and 60 students in three faculties in ninth class.

An arrangement was made on Wednesday 30th December on the basis of the application of all the students of Tejgaon Government High School who had applied for admission.
