Islamia Government High School is a reputed and one of the educational institutions of Dhaka Division. This educational institution is also one of the oldest educational institutions in Dhaka. This educational institution was established in 175 AD.

Haji Muhammad Mohsin is the founder of this educational institution. Students from sixth to tenth class study in the educational institution. Students are divided into three groups so that students can learn in a disciplined manner.

Islamia Government High School is located at No. 1, Municipal Road, Laxmibazar, Dhaka. The motto of this educational institution is “Allah give me knowledge”. At present about 1000 students are studying in this educational institution.

This educational institution has dual branches so that the students can get as much education as possible. It is an advanced educational institution. In addition to formal education, co-educational activities are being conducted in the educational institution. Students are admitted to this educational institution through admission test. Like every year, in 2021 academic year, it publishes a notification for admission in educational institutions.

A lottery will be held on Wednesday, December 30, in the name of all the students who applied for admission in Islamia Government High School. In the lottery, the names of the students are picked up by random selection. List of all the students who have got the opportunity to study in the educational institution.
