Azimpur Government Girls High School is one of the educational institutions in Dhaka. This educational institution was established in 1956 AD. In the past this educational institution was known as Girls High School. Later, the educational institution was also run as a girls’ college in 1999.
The educational institution was later run as both a girls ‘school and a girls’ college. The number of students in the educational institution is about 2600. Hosne Ara Begum is currently the principal of this educational institution. In addition to the supervision of the head teacher, the education system of the educational institution is being run by 61 skilled teachers.
As a result, students are able to achieve good results every year. In 2013, the Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina nationalized the educational institution. In 2006, the educational institution celebrated its 50th anniversary with a grand ceremony.

One of the outstanding students of this educational institution is the Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina. Admission test is held in this educational institution every year. But no admission test will be held in the educational institution this year.
However, the educational institution has issued a notification for the admission of students in the 2023 academic year.
As all the institutions of the education system are closed at present, taking a public examination like admission test means that the Minister of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has decided that there will be no admission test as it increases the health risks of the people, parents and students. Students will be admitted in 2023 academic year.
All students will fill the admission form of Azimpur Government Girls High School. An arrangement will be made on Wednesday, December 30, on the basis of the names of all the students who will pick up the forms for admission in Azimpur Government Girls High School through online.
Azimpur Government Girls High School has issued a notification for the students to apply for the admission from December 15 to 26. Admission form of Azimpur Government Girls High School costs 110 rupees.
A lottery was arranged according to the admission forms of those who picked up the admission forms in Azimpur Government Girls High School and the list of eligible students was published.
